Unit note: 83 ft-lb converts to 112.5 N·m. Nissan’s manuals round this to 113 N·m, and the 2021 bulletin prints 112.55 N·m. All three describe the same setting. You may see other values, such as 80 or 98 ft-lb, on parts-store charts or in forum threads. We could not match either number to a Nissan document.
2026 Nissan Rogue Wheel Torque: 2022 to 2026 Models
Nissan’s 2021 bulletin covers the 2021 Rogue (model code T33). We could not find a Nissan owner’s manual or bulletin online that states the wheel nut torque for 2022 to 2026 Rogues, so we cannot confirm the figure for those years from a primary source. Nissan has not published a different number that we could find, and the 2021 value is 83 ft-lb, but treat that as a lead, not a confirmation. Look in the flat-tire section of your owner’s manual, or download the manual for your year from the Nissan owner manuals and guides page, and use the number printed there.
How to Tighten Nissan Rogue Lug Nuts
These steps follow Nissan’s wheel installation instructions in the owner’s manual, with the torque wrench step spelled out.
- Clean the mounting surface. Remove mud and dirt from the surface between the wheel and the hub, as Nissan instructs.
- Fit the wheel and start every nut by hand. Tighten the nuts finger tight first.
- Snug the nuts in a star pattern. Nissan says to tighten the wheel nuts alternately and evenly in the sequence shown in the manual.
- Lower the vehicle until the tire touches the ground. Nissan’s instructions have you tighten the nuts after lowering the tire to the ground.
- Finish with a torque wrench set to 83 ft-lb (113 N·m). Use the same star order and check each nut until the wrench clicks.
- Retighten after 600 miles (1,000 km). Nissan lists this reminder in the manual, including after a flat tire.
Do not put oil or grease on the studs or nuts. Nissan warns that this could cause the nuts to become loose. Incorrect or improperly tightened wheel nuts can cause a wheel to become loose or come off, according to the same warning in the manual.
